Open data & mobility: hot topics, in Open Source flavor.

Tirasa recently announced its involvement with the Open Source community at Apache Olingo: while there is still a considerable amount of work to be performed on server side (hey, would you like to help?), the client library is already usable and will be finished soon.

The ultimate goal of Apache Olingo client library is to enable any Java application to seamlessly deal with an OData server, thus unlocking the access to a whole universe of open data information: but what would be of this without being able to work in mobility?

That's why we have been fixing some implementation quirks and now you can take a look at the sample Android application we published to show how simple is to deal with an OData service, enjoy!
