Framework and libraries

We develop framework and libraries for Identity Management software, either to support existing features and to integrate new ones, even ad-hoc.

ConnId
ConnId (Connectors for Identity Management) is an open source project by Tirasa, implementing the software layer delegated to bidirectional identity data exchange between an identity manager (Apache Syncope, for example) and an attribute source (relational database, LDAPv3, Active Directory, and many others).

ConnId follows the Identity Connectors project by Sun Microsystem. The original code is released under CDDL 1.0 while new connectors are released under AL 2.0.

ConnId can be downloaded and deployed in production with no license fees. If needed, it is possible to subscribe the community-level support mailing lists in which the Tirasa staff is ordinarly engaged, compatible with company needs.

ADSDDL
ADSDDL is a Java library, conceived and developed by Tirasa, to manipulate the nTSecurityDescriptor attribute in Active Directory.

nTSecurityDescriptor is a descriptor represented by a data structure which contains security information related to a given object. ADSDDL provides all the required directives to read, interpret and write such descriptor's value.

ADSDDL is mainly used by the ConnId Active Dirctory connector. Nevertheless, while relatively young, it seems to have attracted some relevant player's interest.

ADSDDL can be downloaded and deployed in production with no license fees.
