Recently, especially due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there has been a forced acceleration towards a remote working mode with the consequent need to implement suitable remote access solutions.

Since they are exposed to a large number of users, remote access solutions have given rise to the inevitable need for greater security that VPNs and / or virtualization systems alone cannot guarantee.

The answer to this problem came with the adoption of Identity & Access Management (IAM) solutions and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) techniques.

Researches shown as, starting from the beginning of 2021, looking at companies that provided remote access to their users but unfortunately experienced unauthorized accesses, those that did not implement MFA were much higher than the others.

So let's find out together what are the requirements to be met to guarantee secure remote access using IAM systems and MFA techniques.
